Vol. 398 No. 8

Written Answers. - Driving Test.

John Browne

Question:

140 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in having a driving test carried out for a person (details supplied) in County Wexford; and if he will arrange a driving test for this person.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 15 of 26 April 1990 regarding arrangements being made to clear the backlog of driving tests generally.

The person in question applied for a test on a heavy goods vehicle (including trailer). The test will be carried out within six to eight weeks.
