Question:161 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on the proposed new primary school for Corrandulla, County Galway.

The question of the provision of new permanent accommodation at Corrandulla for the Boys' and Girls' National Schools' has arisen in the context of the amalgamation of the schools. My Department proposes to meet with the schools' authorities at an early date to discuss the basis on which the project will proceed.
I am not in a position at this stage to say when building works will commence.
