Written Answers. - Grant and Mortgage Subsidy Payments.

Madeleine Taylor-Quinn

Question:

79 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will receive full payment of a house improvement grant.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named at the address given.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

80 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment if a mortgage subsidy is payable to persons (details supplied) in County Kildare whose mortgage was redeemed recently; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The applicants in this case were approved for a mortgage subsidy in June, 1986 and to date, no claims for payment of the subsidy have been submitted by them. The amount of the subsidy which may be due cannot be determined until the appropriate claim forms duly completed and certified by the lending agency are submitted.

81 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment the amount of a new house grant and a mortgage subsidy already paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; the amount of subsidy still outstanding; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A £2,000 grant and the first instalment of £899 of the mortgage subsidy has been paid. The amount of the remaining instalments of the subsidy due will be determined and paid when the applicant submits claims duly completed and certified by the lending agency.
