Vol. 399 No. 7

Written Answers. - Domiciliary Care Allowance.

John O'Leary

Question:

140 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for Health if he will arrange for the Southern Health Board to issue a carers allowance to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry, having regard to the circumstances of the case; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Payment of the domiciliary care allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly I have referred the Deputy's question to the chief executive officer, Southern Heath Board, with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
