Vol. 399 No. 7

Written Answers. - Portmarnock (Dublin) National Schools.

Seán Ryan

Question:

149 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in finalising the accounts in St. Helen's national school, Portmarnock, County Dublin; and, given that a civil bill has been served on the parish priest in respect of the outstanding account, if she will give an assurance that this problem will be resolved as soon as possible.

I am aware of the situation in relation to the final accounts for St. Helen's national school, Portmarnock, County Dublin.

I have arranged for the examination of these accounts to be completed urgently with a view to making the appropriate final grant payment to the school authorities with the minimum of delay.
