Question:156 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Education the number of places being provided by her Department for in-service courses for primary teachers; the duration of these courses; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Approximately 14,000 teachers will attend in-service courses either provided or approved by my Department during this year. These courses are for a varying duration of time.
