Question:

77 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for the Marine if his attention has been drawn to the threat to a business premises (details supplied) at Murreigh, Waterville, County Kerry, due to coastal erosion; and if he will outline the steps he will take to secure the future of these premises.

Primary responsibility for coast protection rests with local authorities, in this case Kerry County Council.

My Department have no immediate plans in relation to protection works at Waterville.
