81 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education if the two persons (details supplied) who have absconded from St. Joseph's, Clonmel, County Tipperary, and who are again causing havoc in the Sheriff Street area, can be placed in a more secure detention centre.

Where young persons are charged with offences, their subsequent placements is a matter for the courts, and my Department are not in a position to ordain how they should be dealt with.
