Question:40 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for the Marine if he will outline his plans for the introduction of a development plant for fishing on the River Moy, County Mayo; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Proposals for the development of fishing on the River Moy are under consideration by my Department at present. I do not propose to comment on the matter until the proposals have been fully examined.
