26 Tomás Mac Giolla asked the Minister for Labour the up to date position regarding the proposed review of the Unfair Dismissals Act, 1977; when it is intended to introduce amendments to the Act; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The review of the Unfair Dismissals Act, 1977, has been completed and a number of amendments to the legislation are proposed. An appropriate Bill is being drafted at present which I hope to be in a position to circulate in the next session.
