Question:41 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for the Environment the current position regarding the unfinished community centre at Cherry Orchard, Dublin 10; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I would refer the Deputy to my replies to Questions Nos. 129 of 21 November 1989 and 45 of 8 March 1990. My offer of a further grant of £80,000 has been accepted by Dublin Corporation on the basis referred to in my reply of 8 March and I understand that tenders for the remaining works are to be sought in the near future.
