Question:64 Miss Flaherty asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he has allocated any of the funds for women's groups which were made available in the budget; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Applications under the scheme of grants for locally based women's groups are currently being processed within my Department and as soon as decisions are made the groups concerned will be notified.
