74 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Defence if any claims for compensation have been lodged in respect of alleged damages arising out of the Defence Forces use of the firing range at Knocklisheen, Meelick, County Clare; and, if so, if he will give details of the settlements.

The owner of lands adjoining my Department's lands at Knockalishen has indicated that he proposes to seek compensation arising from a controlled explosion on my Department's lands.

However, a formal claim has not been received to date.
