Question:

132 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for the Environment if he will introduce a scheme of grant assistance to householders for the installation of water and sanitary facilities where none exist and where the possibility of a group scheme does not apply.

I have no proposals of this kind. Grant assistance is, however, available for the installation of these facilities in certain circumstances for elderly and disabled persons through the special task force for the elderly and the disabled persons grants scheme, respectively.
