Question:209 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education the number of children attending second class for Foxford national school, County Mayo; and if she has satisfied herself with the pupil/teacher ratio in this case.
Written Answers. - Foxford (Mayo) School.
My Department have been informed by the school authorities that there are 39 pupils attending second class in Foxford Central national school.
I am satisfied that it is possible for the school authorities to organise the classes in the school for the 1990/91 school year without being in breach of my Department's guidelines on maximum class sizes.
