Question:

32 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Communications the number of personnel which he has sanctioned for the Independent Radio and Television Commission; and if he has satisfied himself that the level of staff resources has the ability to cope with the volume of work involved.

A total of seven posts have been sanctioned for the Independent Radio and Television Commission. It is a matter for the Commission to satisfy themselves that the level of staff resources are sufficient to meet the volume of work involved and to seek approval for extra posts, if warranted.
