Vol. 403 No. 1

Written Answers. - Under Age Drinking.

Peter Barry

Question:

47 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Justice if he will set up a properly funded long-term body whose responsibility would be to see that the law on underage drinking is upheld.

The enforcement of the law with regard to underage drinking is a matter for the Garda Síochána and I have no proposals to establish a new body with the responsibility suggested.
