Question:

249 Mr. O'Dea asked the Minister for Education when the building proposal for St. Nessan's national school, Mungret, County Limerick, will go to tender.

Notification of a decision by the local authority to grant planning permission for the proposed extension to St. Nessan's national school, Mungret, County Limerick, was recently forwarded to my Department. When the final grant of planning permission has been received the preparation of the tender documents will be put in hands and these will be completed at the earliest possible date. I am not in a position to say, at this stage, when tenders will be invited for the project.
