Vol. 403 No. 5

Written Answers. - County Cork Flood Damage.

Jim O'Keeffe

Question:

68 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment if he will respond to the request of the Clonakilty Flooding Relief Association to make available the sum of £40,000 towards the carrying out of a feasibility study on Clonakilty Bay, the River Feale and the Convent Road Stream, County Cork.

I understand that Cork County Council have prepared a brief for this feasibility study, and this is to be submitted for considertion by my Department. The question of providing funds does not arise at this stage.
