Question:40 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Defence if he plans to change the role or status of his Department's military barracks in Castlebar, County Mayo; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Castlebar (Mayo) Military Barracks.
All military barracks and posts must be considered in the context of disposing of surplus State property. There are, however, no plans at present to discontinue the use of Castlebar barracks, County Mayo as a military barracks.
