163 Mr. Belton asked the Minister for the Environment if he intends to give an increased allocation to Longford County Council in 1991, under the local improvement scheme, in view of the extensive waiting list of applications.
Pending the determination of individual allocations for 1991, it is not possible to say at this stage the level of funding which will be available to Longford County Council under the local improvements scheme. The allocations under the schemes will have regard to the competing needs of the authorities concerned and the overall allocation for this programme.
