199 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education if she will outline her views and intentions in regard to the provision of the Tipperary rural and business development institute; if she intends to sanction the provision of this institute; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
Proposals with regard to the provision of a rural and business development institute in Tipperary were submitted to my Department by County Tipperary (NR) Vocational Education Committee some months ago. Decisions on this and other projects submitted for consideration must be taken within the confines of available resources. Assistance from the European Structural Fund for educational infrastructure is fully committed up to the end of 1993. The proposed rural development institute are not one of the projects in this context.
