Question:176 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the results of the monitoring of riverine inputs for each of the rivers monitored in 1990.

The information requested is at present being compiled by the Environmental Research Unit (ERU), but will not be available for some time. An ERU publication entitled "Riverine Inputs to the Western Irish Sea" covers the years 1986 and 1987 and is available in the Oireachtas Library and I am arranging to forward a copy to the Deputy.
