Vol. 404 No. 2

Written Answers. - Transfer of Ordnance Survey Office.

Donal Carey

Question:

50 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Finance if he will outline the date which has been set for the completion of the transfer by the Ordnance Survey Office to Ennis, County Clare.

The following locations were selected for the regional offices of the ordnance survey: Cork, Ennis, Kilkenny, Longford, Sligo and Tuam.

The detailed planning for the establishment of the regional offices, and for the assignment of staff to the offices, has been put in train by the survey's management. It is not possible as this preliminary stage to state the dates on which the offices will be set up but the arrangements will proceed as quickly as possible.
