Question:

288 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for the Environment if tenders for the Rathkeale Sewerage Scheme, County Limerick have been submitted to his Department by Limerick County Council; whether it is proposed to accept the lowest tender; if he will outline the position in relation to bonding; when he will give approval to commence the scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have approved the tender proposal for the Rathkeale sewerage scheme submitted by Limerick County Council. The question of bonding is a matter for decision by the council.
