293 Mr. Byrne asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the expenditure, for each of the last five years, of moneys given by way of a grant or a loan to approved voluntary bodies under schemes such as section 5 of the Housing Act 1988, or similar grant schemes, to projects within the Dublin County Borough.

The amounts paid by my Department to Dublin Corporation for assistance to voluntary bodies providing housing in the county borough were as follows: 1986, £812,000; 1987, £969,160; 1988, £1,514,452; 1989, £1,888,730; 1990, £3,932,419.
