Question:67 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Energy if he will make arrangements for the holding of an open competition to recruit officers to inspect applications for forestry grants.

Arrangements are at present being made for the Civil Service Commission to hold a confined competition to recruit officers for my Department to inspect applications for forestry grants. I propose to invite applications for these posts from suitably qualified staff serving in Coillte Teoranta.
