I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given to me under Standing Order 20 (3) (a) and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy John Ellis, the establishment of a woodpulp mill within the State, and the progress made in relation to same; (2) Deputy Gay Mitchell, if the Minister for Industry and Commerce will undertake an investigation into the cost of funerals in Dublin; (3) Deputy Jimmy Deenihan, if the Government will take immediate steps to combat the problems of homeless young people, especially in Dublin; (4) Deputy Tony Gregory, the loss of a teacher at St. Lawrence O'Toole senior boys' national school, Dublin 1; (5) Deputy P.J. Sheehan, the reason the Director General of Fisheries in the EC, who is visiting this country on Monday and Tuesday, 4 and 5 February, has omitted Castletownbere Fishery Board from his itinerary; (6) Deputy Roger Garland, the serious situation with regard to the removal of sand from Ballybunion beach which is causing a threat to tourism amenities, including the golf course; (7) Deputy Eric Byrne, the court case in Limerick this week in which an unlicensed moneylender was convicted of charging an interest rate of 1,300 per cent, and the delays in updating legislation governing moneylending; and (8) Deputy Eamon Gilmore, the exclusion of Dún Laoghaire harbour from the operational programme on peripherality.

I have selected for discussion the matters raised by the following Deputies: Deputy P.J. Sheehan, Deputy Gay Mitchell and Deputy Tony Gregory.
