Question:208 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Tourism and Transport if he will arrange to have a haulier's licence issued to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.
Written Answers. - Haulier's Licence Application.
An application for a road freight carrier's licence was lodged by the person concerned on 4 September, 1990 but as certain requirements were not met, the application could not be approved. The position was fully explained to the applicant by my Department.
A revised application was received in my Department on 24 January 1991. This application is currently being examined and will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
