60 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for the Environment the reason the provision for subsidies to local authorities for loan charges in respect of the provision of capital services has been reduced in 1991; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The revised 1991 estimate for local authority loan charges subsidies to be published in the Revised Estimates for Public Services 1991, is 20 per cent greater than actual expenditure in 1990.
