Question:107 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education the progress, if any, which has been made in relation to the provision of a new combined building for a school (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

As the Deputy is aware, I have approved the placing of the contract for the new school in County Kilkenny to which he refers. Good title to the site has recently been confirmed and my Department are now in a position to proceed with the contract subject to lodgment of the agreed local contribution. My Department will write to the school authorities in this regard at an early date.
