136 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications if he has any detailed analysis of the profit and loss, or revenue and expenditure relationships, of each of the various air routes of scheduled services operated by Aer Lingus internationally.

147 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications the annual profit and loss situation of Aer Lingus's operations on the North Atlantic routes in each year since 1980.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 136 and 147 together.

From time to time at my request, Aer Lingus provide me with detailed information in relation to the financial performance of individual routes. Because of the commercial sensitivity of this information, however, it must be treated as confidential.

However, certain financial information in relation to the intra-European and transatlantic routes is available from Aer Lingus Annual Reports as follows:
