Question:

215 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications if the projections set out in the 1979 McKinsey report, in relation to the railways, have been broadly correct in terms of projected losses.

Actual losses incurred on the railways have been significantly less than those which were projected in the McKinsey report.
