Question:42 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Justice the measures he intends taking to facilitate faster court proceedings, particularly in the High Court; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There is little, if any, delay in the disposal of Circuit and District Court business.
There are delays in the Supreme Court and part of the High Court and I am considering a number of proposals to reduce them. Any proposals I may have to deal with this matter will be announced in the ordinary way.
