133 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Finance when the canal fencing from the tenth lock at Clondalkin and at the rear of houses at that point will be commenced by the Office of Public Works; when the work will be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Office of Public Works have no plans to erect fencing along the Grand Canal near the tenth lock at Clondalkin. The erection of fencing at the rear of houses is a matter for the residents.
