94 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Finance when the moneys will be made available to Ireland from EC Structural Funds in the years 1991, 1992 and 1993 for roads; and if he will outline the matching funds which will be made available by the Government in that period.
The Operational Programme on Peripherality — which has been approved by the European Commission — contains details of planned co-financed expenditure on roads and other transport infrastructure in the period to 31 December 1993. These details are in the form of tabular statements which I propose to circulate in the Official Report. The tables also contain details of Regional Fund assistance committed in respect of road development measures.
The global annual commitment for each year under the programme is drawn down in three advances as follows:
