Question:28 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Defence if, in view of the recent accidents with the Air Corps Marchetti training planes, he has considered withdrawing the aircraft from service.
Written Answers. - Air Corps Training Planes Adequacy.
The investigations into two recent incidents involving Air Corps Marchetti aircraft have not yet been completed. However, the results of the investigations to date have not revealed the presence of any technical fault that would warrant grounding the other Marchetti aircraft in service in the Air Corps.
