Question:

60 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the amount, if any, of assistance available to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare who proposes to set up a small business in the service industry; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

In general service activity on the domestic market is not grant aided.

The IDA provide grant assistance, by means of feasibility support and employment grants, in respect of the following international service activities:

Data Processing; Software Development; Technical and Consultancy Services; Commercial Laboratory Services; Administrative Headquarter Services; Research and Development Services; Media Recording; Training Services; Publishing Services; International Financial Services; Healthcare Services.
