Vol. 406 No. 8

Written Answers. - Disabled Person's Allowance.

Bernard Allen

Question:

53 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health when a decision will be made on the application of a person (details supplied) in County Cork for a disabled person's maintenance allowance; and the reason for the delay in processing this application.

Payment of a disabled persons maintenance allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly, this question has been referred to the chief executive officer, Southern Health Board, with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
