Vol. 407 No. 3

Written Answers. - Traffic Route Lighting.

Charles Flanagan

Question:

172 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for the Environment whether a proposal received in his Department from Laois County Council in respect of traffic route lighting at Borris-in-Ossory, County Laois, will be treated as a matter of extreme urgency; and if a decision, in the form of final approval, will be made in order that Laois County Council can arrange with the ESB for the lights to be provided.

Proposals from Laois County Council for traffic route lighting at Borris-in-Ossory were approved on 11 April and a road grant allocation has been provided to meet the cost of the approved works.
