Question:

186 Mr. Taylor asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received a request from Dublin County Council for a special allocation of £150,000 for the purpose of the provision of urgently needed fencing along the northern side of the New Nangor/Fox and Geese Road adjacent to Michael Collins and Alpine Heights Estates, Clondalkin, Dublin; whether the allocation will be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The request referred to by the Deputy was received in my Department on 17 April 1991 and is under consideration.

A decision will be conveyed to the local authority in due course.
