Question:

188 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment when his Department will make money available to Kerry County Council to enable improvement works to be carried out to the water supply in Kenmare, County Kerry.

Proposals submitted by Kerry County Council under the 1991 small schemes programme are under examination in my Department at present. Allocations will be notified to local authorities shortly.

189 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding the provision of a new sewerage scheme for Ballyheigue Holiday Resort, County Kerry.

There are no proposals with my Department for this scheme.
