Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given to the Ceann Comhairle under Standing Order 20 (3) (a) and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Eamon Gilmore — The repeated concerns expressed by District Justice Wine of the Dún Laoghaire court, about the lack of a remedial detention centre for young offenders, in view of the rising incidents of juvenile crime in the Dún Laoghaire area, (2) Deputy Eric Byrne — The problems encountered by members of the public in obtaining a Garda to sign application forms for Irish passports; (3) Deputy Pat McCartan — The industrial dispute involving the news room staff at Capital Radio in Dublin; (4) Deputy Michael Moynihan — The deferral of the Dingle marine public inquiry; (5) Deputy Austin Deasy — The losses and hardship being suffered by farmers due to the number of refusals of payment of the special beef premium scheme because of minor technicalities; and if the Minister for Agriculture and Food will use his good offices to have these restrictions lifted; and (6) Deputy Jimmy Deenihan — The crisis faced by many national youth organisations because of the decrease in their grant allocation for 1991.
