Question:

68 Mr. Roche asked the Taoiseach if he will outline the value and weight of helix aspersa live and preserved and of other terrestrial molluscs imported and exported during the years 1985 to 1990 inclusive.

Helix aspersa is not separately distinguished in the Customs and Excise Tariff of Ireland. Data on trade in helix aspersa and other terrestrial molluscs are included under the heading `Snails other than sea snails'. Data for same are given in the following table:
