Question:

72 Mr. T. O'Sullivan asked the Taoiseach the total number of people on short-time for each of the months of January, February and March of 1991; and the corresponding number notified in this period in each year from 1985 to date.

The following table shows the number of persons working on a systematic short-time basis registered at local employment offices on the last Friday of January, February and March for each of the years 1985 to 1991 inclusive.
