Question:51 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice if he will outline his policy regarding the proposal for an identity card scheme to deal with under-age drinking.

I would refer the Deputy to my replies to supplementary questions on under-age drinking on 6 March 1991 (Volume 406 No. 1, columns 83 to 87).
My policy in regard to identity cards for the purposes of the liquor licensing legislation was fully set out in those replies.
