164 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health if he will intervene in a situation whereby the VHI is no longer paying for the removal of warts by cryosurgery; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Operational affairs of this nature are entirely a matter for the Voluntary Health Insurance Board and I am not in a position to intervene. I understand that the matter is the subject of discussions at present between the board and the Irish Medical Organisation.
