Question:66 Mr. Connor asked the Minister for Energy if he has any new proposals in the area of energy auditing to ensure conservation of energy; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Eolas continue to carry out audits as part of their sectoral audit programme which is funded by my Department. The new areas to be focused on this year are the textile and electronic sectors.
There are also new initiatives being considered in the commercial and industrial sectors.
