The number of farmers who have applied for the young farmer's installation aid to date is 2,861. Of these 1,696 have been paid.

Question:62 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork was refused payment of a special beef premium.
This applicant has been deemed ineligible for payment under the 1990 special beef premium scheme as he did not maintain the number of animals on which he applied for premium for two months as required under the terms and conditions of the scheme.
