Vol. 409 No. 1

Written Answers. - Kinsale (County Cork) School.

Jim O'Keeffe

Question:

150 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education whether her attention has been drawn to the urgent need for a new community school in Kinsale, County Cork; if she will outline the up-to-date position in relation to the plans for the new school; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I am aware of the urgent need for a new community school in Kinsale.

My Department have recently approved the outline sketch scheme for this project and in order to expedite further arrangements, the design team responsible have been directed to prepare a combined submission on the next two stages of architectural planning i.e. the developed sketch scheme and detail design.
